Hello, my name is Andrew Jara. I am trying to be a writer/director. I made a film named "Last Days" that i'm trying to bring some press to.

Plot: James Bond comes back from his own death to solve a case that involves someone trying to get revenge on M. Directed by Sam Mendes.
Review: I never really liked the James Bond films. They were too out there and fantastic for me so I never watched them but Casino Royale was a bit different. It presented a younger, tougher, blonder James Bond that used his brain more than gadgets. I loved it, and thought it was amazing. Then Quantum of Solace happened and it seemed like it was back to normal. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t what Casino Royale promised that the series was going. Well it seems that Skyfall is the answer to the promise that Casino Royale made. It’s a dark, realistic, sleek thriller that manages to not only be a epic James Bond adventure but also a personal story. In this film, it’s more of M’s story and she uses Bond as her blunt instrument. Judi Denche is really allowed to shine here as she is given the most screen time she has ever has. We see different sides to M that show her not only as the boss but as someone who has to make the tough calls that other people don’t even want to know are being made. There is a great courtroom scene where she tells us how much more relevant agents and in effect James Bond are still needed in this every-changing world. Sam Mendes directs this film as his other films and it gives the movie a grander scale than before. Since he isn’t coming from an action film background, Mendes is able to use subtle touches to tell the story making it much more effective. Every actor is on point. Javier Bardem plays the villain and I won’t give it too much away but he may be the best Bond villain of this series and in a long time. He brings a new kind of villain that is fun and chilling to watch. Daniel Craig does a great job as a Bond that has finally set into his role. No longer the fresh agent this Bond is harden and smooth. This film also has a lot of humor and it helps to break up the story. Nothing feel out of place and you have the fun that comes with a Bond film. It’s almost the perfect mix of Solace and Casino Royale. There is a lot more I could say but I think that would spoil some of the fun. I say go watch it and whatever bond you are looking for, you will probably find it. I loved this film and would recommend it to fans and non fans alike!
Trivia: Daniel Craig performed many of his own stunts including the roof-top fight on top of a moving train!
You know what i’m watching this week!
